摘要	共同富裕是社会主义的本质要求，准确测度和评价共同富裕程度对实现中国式现代化有着重要的现实意义。恩格尔系数作为反映居民生活水平或地区富裕程度的国际通用指标，常被纳入共同富裕的进程监测和评价体系中，其科学性与合理性对评价结果至关重要，但传统的恩格尔系数并不能准确反映我国居民的真实生活水平。文章从恩格尔定律本质出发，结合共同富裕的内涵特征，将居民消费按照实际需求进行划分，在此基础上对恩格尔系数进行重新定义，推导出相应的修正公式，并利用2020年CFPS微观数据对修正后的恩格尔系数进行可行性和合理性验证，发现修正后的恩格尔系数能更好地刻画我国居民的生活水平和富裕程度，且与收入水平之间的关系更符合恩格尔定律。
其他摘要	Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism.Accurately measuring and evaluating the degree of common prosperity is of significant practical importance for achieving Chinese-style modernization.Engel's coefficient,an inter-nationally accepted indicator reflecting the standard of living or wealth level of residents or regions,is often incorporated into the monitoring and evaluation system of common prosperity.Its scientificity and rationality are crucial to the assessment results.How-ever,traditional Engel's coefficient does not correctly reflect the actual living standards of Chinese residents.Starting from the es-sence of Engel's law and combining the intrinsic characteristics of common prosperity,this paper classifies residents'consump-tion according to actual needs,then redefines Engel's coefficient on this basis,and finally derives a corresponding revised formu-la.Furthermore,the paper uses the micro data of CFPS in 2020 to verify the feasibility and rationality of the revised Engel's coef-ficient,finding that the revised Engel's coefficient can reflect the living standards and prosperity degree of Chinese residents more accurately,and that its relationship with income levels is more in line with Engel's law.
